Subsea Riser Products operates to stringent OHSAS 18001 Manual that describes the Health and Safety Management System. It serves as a cross reference between the requirements of OHSAS18001 and the QHSE documentation in use by the company.
The system includes:
"The Acteon Way" - This is an HSE company procedure that ensures that all offices and projects are conducted to the high standards set through out the Acteon Group.
Our objectives are set in accordance to the areas of weakness highlighted through the auditing of the "Acteon Way".
Our rates of "hazard-observance", "near-miss" and "lost time incident" exemplary and are made available to clients on a project basis.
Safety is particularly important to SRP as the equipment with which we are concerned operates to very high pressures, tends to high weight loads, and can roll if not set down carefully. The risks are are such that standard personal protective equipment will not protect against crushing, or pressure injuries therefore strict adherence to procedure is crucial.
