SRP was selected for our ability to provide extra long forgings in a very tight time scale. The scope of work included the finalization of design details, material testing, machining and product testing. Furthermore SRP was contracted to provide a suite of ancillary components. Through diligent project management the equipment, destined for offshore Nigeria, was delivered in only 9 months. |
In the second quarter of 2009 SRP was contracted to provide a suite of intervention riser equipment including integrally forged riser components. The joints designed by sister company, 2H Offshore, included 2 off Lower Stress Joints and 2 off Case Wear Joint Assemblies for a containment pressure of approximately 2,000psi system in 800m water depth.
