SRP completes first Subsea Communities event

September 2010

On the 22nd of September Subsea Riser Products, along with Acteon Group sister companies, 2H Offshore and Claxton held the first event in an ongoing initiative, supported by Acteon, to engage with clients and the wider industry.

The event, which focused on high pressure Riser Systems and associated issues, set a foundation which Acteon’s operating companies hope will evolve into a broad and far-reaching engagement with the industry.

Held at the Marcliffe Hotel, Aberdeen, the breakfast meeting saw presentations from Steve Hatton, Dannie Claxton and Simon Luffrum – each a respected expert in their fields – delivered to an audience that included a diverse mix of clients from around the industry.

The event will be repeated in London at the May Fair Hotel on the 3rd of November – if you would like more information on this and future events, please email takepart@acteon.com

About Subsea Communities
The Acteon Group is supporting an ongoing series of free-to-attend information-sharing events within four critical areas for the industry:

  • HPHT Seabed to Surface
  • FPSO Redeployment
  • Decommissioning
  • Renewables

By bringing together experts from within the Acteon group, our clients and partners from the wider industry, we believe we can create a platform for frank discussion on how these challenges can, collectively, be faced and overcome.

A dedicated online portal for the Subsea Communities program will be launching soon – allowing free access to all of the reports and content from the community events.
