Health and Safety Earns ISO Certification

In an audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance in January, 2011 it was confirmed that SRP had an established a Health and Safety system in accordance with the OHSAS 18001 standard. Therefore OHSAS 18001 certification was issued for the “Design and supply of riser products for the subsea oil and gas industry”.

Lucy Burchett, HSE Coordinator, said, “The equipment we work with is heavy, can roll when laid down on the ground and often involves high pressure fluids. Therefore HSE is really important to our business, our people and those of our customers and contractors. We work very hard to continually improve our HSE and all of our other management systems.”
