Fast Delivery of HP Riser System

SRP have shipped another PRESSURE-DRILL™ high pressure drilling riser in a record short lead time of only 6 months.

The 5,000 psi service rated riser for jack-up water depth was delivered in England to Acteon group sister company Claxton Engineering Services for an imminent first rental to a North Sea operator.

Project manager Mark Hudson said, “We were able to supply in such a short time due to having close working relationships with forging and machining subcontractors ensuring that we receive the required components despite Christmas shut-downs and snow-blocked roads during the schedule.”

The overall riser system comprises 20 joints along with another SRP PRESSURE-SPIDER™ system for running and a set of PRESSURE-TOOLS™ for safe handling.
