TRUNNION-LATCH

TRUNNION-LATCH is an extensively qualified, purpose built product to meet the growing demand for cost-efficient single line hybrid risers. The TRUNNION-LATCH is a highly effective, high integrity, and short schedule alternative to conventional rotational latches used on free-standing hybrid riser (SLOR) foundations.

SLOR-TOP

SLOR-TOP is a pre-engineered complete single free-standing hybrid riser top assembly enabling efficient fabrication, installation, intervention and maintenance during life of field. Construction/fabrication is simplified to maximize in-country content.

SLOR-CHAIN

SLOR-CHAIN is a high integrity, high capacity (650Tonnes) tether for hybrid risers. combining an oversized chain section (approximately 20m length) with rugged, automatic latches or bearing units at each end for the quick, safe connection of the top assembly of a hybrid riser to the aircan or buoyancy tank above.

SLOR-BASE

Whilst single line hybrid risers (also known as SLOR's or SHR's) have been used on a numerous deepwater projects there is growing concern that they are overly complicated and costly. This situation arises from the fact that each project re-engineers a new solution to meet project requirements and contractor preferences. This approach has a negative impact on schedule and CapEx but also on risk, as new designs are rarely well optimized and can incorporate features that are not well proven.

STRESS-JOINT

STRESS-JOINTs are routinely used as a curvature control component at the fixed end of a riser. The upper S-J (by contrast with a lower stress joint) has to manage both curvature and tension loads. Although mission-critical components both the upper and lower S-J experience fatigue service and therefore their manufacture is crucial for long term integrity. SRP is the supplier of choice for STRESS-JOINTs.
