Avoiding welding PRESSURE-DRILL-SF provides a weight-efficient solution. Tension stud flanges are used with an innovative method of quick assembly to reduce running time.

SRP has a welded flange design targeted at full bore, medium to high pressure riser systems. Using experience gained in deepwater riser engineering, and applying it to shallow water technology, SRP’s PRESSURE-DRILL-W designs are optimized to reduce the number of required bolts. This decreases the cycle times for flange connections making SRP’s solution globally competitive.

SRP’s PRESSURE-SPIDER is a twin plate, quick lock system that can be supplied separately or as part of a complete riser package. The components can be optimized for specific environments through detailed material specification and dynamic loading analysis. This enables a slim design with excellent load performance that is designed to standard API requirements, enabling easy interface with any rotary table.

STRESS-JOINTs are routinely used as a curvature control component at the fixed end of a riser. The upper S-J (by contrast with a lower stress joint) has to manage both curvature and tension loads. Although mission-critical components both the upper and lower S-J experience fatigue service and therefore their manufacture is crucial for long term integrity.
